The allure and romance of youth is a classic theme of the pastoral story. We have been giving it a lot of thought on our other blogs. But one key element that most evokes the imagination is scent. We have never quite understand why it is that perfume commercials have to be so overtly sexual. Sometimes they just border on silly as far as we are concerned. We like this quick spoof commercials we found on Youtube very much.

 

It could function as a nice satire of the the atrocious marketing campaign of Calvin Klein's new CKIn2U perfume. TechnoSexual indeed.

We love being surprised by a brand. Sometimes a line you associate with tacky does something totally darling. We are in love with this Juicy Couture 'Perfume Atomizer' Charm.

It just seems like the perfect charm for a perfume lover wanting to show their love. We might not want a Juicy fragrance in there but you can't have it all can you?

Fragrance Friday: Musk By Jean Guy

We are suckers for unisex fragrances. We share clothing with our boy (American Apparel deep v-necks tees) and beauty products (Kielh's) so why not scents? We are loving Jean Guy's Musk for just that reason.

The style is confident and fresh and the notes are crisp linen, pear, and both white and sensual musk which to us says man or woman this is a scent for people with a little zest!

In his latest creation Musk, he reinvents a classic and transforms it into something truly modern by capturing the sensuality of women with the passion of men.
